Aeonium 'Dark Star'- A beautiful new Aeonium, from Steve Super Gardens! Forms a clump approx. 2-2.5 feet tall and as wide of multi-branching , bare stems that hold terminal rosettes That are dark mahogany purple with pointed leaf tips. Slightly wavy leaf tips add an extra dimension and beauty! Seasonal color change from dark purple to bright cherry red/brown (SEE PHOTOS) make this one a year-round knockout! Almost pyramidal clusters of brilliant yellow, star-shaped flowers are produced. These make fantastic potted specimens!  Aeonium are winter growers and do not like hot summer climates.  

Well-drained soil.Protect from frost. This one will withstand some light freeze but the stems will freeze at about 28 degrees F.
