Agave attenuata 'Nova' (Blue Fox Tail Agave) - A stunning, Agave attenuata with wide, frosty blue-green leaves. Forms a clump 3-4 feet tall and equally as wide or wider with many rosettes of flexible, spineless, graceful leaves that arch downward. A. 'Nova' has a giant foxtail shaped bloom spike that is more upright than the inflorescence on regular A. attenuata. an absolutely fantastic addition to the succulent collection and a great one for a larger element planted close to sidewalks or traffic areas, due to it's softer, spineless leaves.
Full sun is recommended for coastal and very mild summer climates or light shade in hot areas. Prefers well drained soil and occasional water. A. attenuata is usually damaged in temps. below 28 degrees F. and should be covered in hard frost to prevent leaf damage. Can also be used as a potted specimen. Sale plants are in one gallon size pots, just like the LAST FOUR PHOTOS, and will be shipped bare-root via Priority Mail. PLEASE NOTE: The particular plant you receive may or may not have brown leaf tips on the very bottom leaves. Agave attenuata are constantly losing the bottom leaves, as they develop a trunk. This is completely normal.
