(Agave x protoamericana 'Funky Toes' x margaritae) - These are great plants from our batch of new hybrids and one of our favorite crosses in a long time!  So far, all of these plants that we have grown up to 2-3 gallon size are fantastic.  So much incredible variation in this batch. Emagine the amazing margins and undulation in 'Funky Toes' made really thick and compact by the margaritae parentage. Gorgeous, very thick, glaucous silver-blue leaves have long, random cavities between pronounced marginal teats. Many of them also develope beautiful undulation in the leaves as they grow.  Leaves have a nice fine sandpaper texture.   So far, these hybrids seem as though the margaritae parentage  is going to keep them very compact..  Will most likely grow to  approx 2.5 ft high by 2.5-3 ft. across.  Time will tell. A great one for the collector!
