Agave lophantha 'Quadricolor' -  One of the most colorful and beautiful of any Agave!!  Compact in size, growing 12-18 inches high by 12-24 inches wide with Dark green, almost glossy leaves margined with gold and displaying a light green midstripe.  Stunning leaves are margined with dark red teeth which make a gorgeous border against the gold margins which, when grown in bright light, will flush red themselves.  An absolute knockout in the succulent garden.  Because of its compact size it also makes a fantastic potted specimen!
 
Full sun and well drained soil.  
Very drought tolerant but grows more quickly with some supplemental summer water.  
Hardy to approx. 22 degrees.
