Farfugium japonicum 'Argentea'-  A stunning Farfugium (formerly Ligularia) with large, dark green leaves heavily variegated with light green and white.  Will even flush with some pink in high light for a great tricolor effect! produces a nice, compact mound approx. 2 feet high by 3-4 feet wide.  In late summer through fall, large branched stems of yellow daisy-like flowers are produced. A must have for an amazing tropical effect in the yard!
 
Part to full shade, regular to rich soil and regular water.  Can be used as a marginal plant around a pond.  
Hardy to 0 degrees F. it will die back in cold winter areas and shoot back up in the spring.  In mild areas it is evergreen.
